Welcome to the Faculty of Sharia at Universitas Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor. This faculty serves as one of the main pillars in the development of Islamic scholarship, focusing on the comprehensive, integrative, and applicable study of Islamic law (Sharia). Within the unique pesantren-based academic environment, students and lecturers engage in a dynamic learning atmosphere grounded in five core values: sincerity, simplicity, self-reliance, Islamic brotherhood, and freedom.
The Faculty of Sharia is committed to producing graduates with a deep understanding of Islamic law, the ability to respond to contemporary social dynamics, and the capacity to contribute actively to the development of just and value-based legal systems. The Faculty offers various study programs, including Islamic family law, Islamic economic law, and comparative madhhab and legal studies, aimed at preparing a generation of Muslim scholars and professionals who can contribute meaningfully to society and Islamic civilization.
