Dean’s Welcome Address

Welcome to the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor. This faculty serves as one of the main pillars in the development of knowledge in the fields of economics and management, focusing on comprehensive, integrative, and applicable studies. Within a unique pesantren-based academic environment, students and lecturers engage in a dynamic learning atmosphere grounded in core values: sincerity, simplicity, self-reliance, Islamic brotherhood, and freedom.

The Faculty of Economics and Management is committed to producing graduates who possess a deep understanding of economics and management, are capable of responding to global and national economic dynamics, and actively contribute to the development of a just economic system based on Islamic values. The educational programs are designed to integrate classical Islamic intellectual heritage and values with modern approaches in economics and management, resulting in graduates who are competent, professional, and possess strong integrity.

The Faculty offers various study programs covering Islamic economics, business management, as well as Islamic finance and banking, aiming to prepare a generation of Muslim professionals who can make meaningful contributions to society and the economic development of the ummah.
