The UNIDA Marching Band is one of the Student Activity Units at Universitas Darussalam Gontor that attracts many students who are interested in music and performing arts. This organization serves as a platform for students to develop their musical abilities, teamwork, and performance skills by combining musical and visual elements.
Marching Band performances share similarities with orchestral performances, but they are presented in a more dynamic form through the combination of musical performance, marching movements, and visually engaging displays. Through these activities, members are trained not only in technical musical skills, but also in discipline, coordination, and teamwork.
In addition to being active in internal campus activities, the UNIDA Marching Band also regularly organizes training and teaching sessions for both new members and students outside the campus environment. These activities represent the organization’s contribution to developing musical talents among the younger generation while also enhancing the university’s artistic achievements and outreach through various performances and competitions.
