The Student Regiment (MENWA) is one of the national civilian components that receives basic military education and training as part of the national defense system. MENWA is prepared to participate in safeguarding the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) as an implementation of the Universal People’s Defense and Security System (Sishankamrata).
As a student organization that emphasizes discipline, leadership, and patriotism, MENWA aims to develop students with strong nationalism, responsibility, and readiness in facing national challenges. In addition to receiving basic military training, MENWA members are also equipped with leadership skills, organizational management abilities, and community service experience as a tangible contribution of students to the nation and the state.
